Weil mir dein Wort die Hoffnung beut.

Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.

The value of a man should be seen in what he gives and not in what he is able to receive.

Research Interests

My fascination is actually in evolutionary biology. I always dream to be an evolutionary biologist one day. Fortunately, I am now working on phylogenetics research. I hope to explore research opportunities in evolutionary biology, where I can apply my expertise in Mathematics and Bioinformatics.

Misc

I was born and grown up at Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province, PRC. In my childhood, I enjoyed the beautiful landscape of my hometown and the colorful outdoor activities, which made me fascinated by NATURE. I am willing to devote my life in discovering the truth of our nature as well as applying them in improving our society. Besides, I also like mathematics and am good at abstract thinking. I do hope to apply the beautiful math to solve biological problems. That's why I chose math as my major during undergraduate years.

Chan's Magic words ^_^:

Where there is a smile, there is a way.
Tears are always followed by happiness.
What's important is not where we are, but in which direction we hope to go.
