Short Biography

Dongsheng Che is a Ph.D. candidate of Computer Science at The University Georgia (UGA). He received his Bachelor's degree in Forestry at Zhejiang Forestry College in China, and his Masters degree of Forest Biotechnology and Computer Science at UGA in 2000 and 2002 repectively. He is currently doing research at the Computational Systems Biology Lab (CSBL) under the direction of Dr. Ying Xu and Dr. Liming Cai.

Research Interests

• Bioinformatics/Computational Biology: Comparative genomics, transcriptional regulatory networks, biological pathways
• Algorithms: Graph algorithms
• Artificial Intelligence: Machine learning, evolutionary computation
